Nowhere is Phil condoning any of this stuff you have said. To claim otherwise is not being honest.
This whole thing is something Phil has said in his testimony, on the show, and in his book. It is a joke. Here is the excerpt from his book where he says the same thing:
"Miss Kay was the perfect woman for me. I was sixteen and she was fifteen when we were married. Nowadays some people might frown on people getting married that young, but I knew that if you married a woman when she was fifteen, she would pluck your ducks. If you waited until she was twenty, she would only pick your pockets. Now, that's a joke, and a lot of people seem to laugh at it, but there is a certain amount of truth in it. If you find a nice, pretty country girl who can cook and carries her Bible, now, there's a woman."

They actually married at 16 & 18 while in college. Can a 16 year old be in college? My sister was. That's where she met her future husband and married him at 17 years old. Phil also calls his daughters in law Yuppies. He told grandsons to go to Walmart and buy a personality. That will be the Brit or Liberal Tabloids next scandal LOL.
His young marriage wasn't considered out of the norm for the times, community, and even the south. Perhaps Stingray should listen carefully to what Kay said in their renewal of vows and their relationship. Nah. This was like some Troll the other day hitting threads condemning people and cursing posters for having TV LOL.
