Occasionally I think of Jefferson and how he would feel about what has become of his state and the university he created.
I also ponder how anyone living in that area, surrounded by the memory of Jefferson, Washington, Madison, Patrick Henry, etc., and do the stupid liberal things they do.
Every day they live, the residents of that area are reminded of what those men stood for and what an example they set for us.
But then a university town so available to retiring DC crazies can’t escape it.
The police chief wants to put surveillance cameras on the mall, but the town council absolutely refuses. Having experience in Iraq, I can easily spot the “teens” on the mall that are looking for opportunities. I don’t go down there as frankly, it’s an over-glorified and overpriced dump and the food sucks...but it’ll be interesting to see how many people have to get maimed or killed before the “liberals” accept responsibility for their positions!
