Of the three you listed, I guarantee you that you have some of the latter in your family. They might be in the closet but, they’re there.
How do you expect to change them if you won’t even be around them? Over the years I’ve shown democratic friends that their politics hurts themselves and some them have moved over to the right side.
As for homosexuals I show them passages in the bible which show clearly it’s a sin, rather than call them queer or avoid them. One of them is now a former homosexual who is happily married and has become very religious. Same with Muslims. I talk to them and I show them the error of their ways. Have had some success here too. Catherine by showing compassion people can be changed for the better.
