Lots of people are unaware of it. It’s not widely publicized, probably because of the inevitable question:
“Who is paying the rest of the costs if they exceed the Out of Pocket limit?”

You are looking at "out of pocket maximum" for a compliant exchange plan, but of course, the actual OOP can be much lower for a given plan. You have to look at the actual plan specifics.
