Cane sugar tastes better...

Sure does, enough so that I'd search for the Mexican ones. I used to buy only those, but ran across some that had an off flavor and caused me to stop. If bottlers here used real sugar, I would consume more. Don't like drinking those high-fructose ones at all.

I agree. Why so much high-fructose in everything? Is it that much cheaper? When I used to cook (for kids and their father), I sure as heck didn’t put the junky stuff in what I was making. I saw corn syrup in the store but no high-fructose corn syrup. There is a difference in sherbet flavor as well.
