They own land they can hardly pay the taxes on and do not want to sell it off to pay taxes.

We've got a big fight over a local case going on. The family couldn't afford to pay the taxes on their 300 acres and they couldn't afford to fight the greenies who were opposing oil drilling on the property. The state took the property and the county ended up with the mineral rights.

As far as I'm concerned, property taxes are criminal to begin with.

Ultimately property rights and personal rights are the same thing.
