After Phil Robertson, the patriarch of "Duck Dynasty," made controversial remarks about homosexuality that were published in GQ magazine, former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin spoke out in his defense.
However, when asked by Fox News host Greta Van Susteren if Robertson's remarks were offensive and whether or not she had any objection as to how he worded his comments, Palin said she didn't know what Robertson had actually said, Politico reports.
I havent read the article. I dont know exactly how he said it, Palin explained on Fox Newss On the Record With Greta Van Susteren" on Monday.
On December 18, shortly after the "Duck Dynasty" controversy began, Palin took to Facebook where she wrote, "Free speech is an endangered species. Those 'intolerants' hatin and taking on the Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us."

I agree with your line of thought completely. And I'll mention one more thing. If Palin had a more alert and aware staff, she might well be President now. As it was, she made too many missteps. The Charlie Gibson interview is just one example.
Liberals are forgiven their missteps, Conservatives are not.

If conservatives take each candidate out and shoot them as soon as the Dems make fun of them or criticize them, then let’s just raise the hammer and sickle and turn ourselves in.
I choose to rally behind those willing to defend what the founders have left us.
Palin is one of our fighters, along with Cruz, Lee and a few others. Unless we rally behind these people instead of wincing when they are attacked, then we are through.
