Seriously, in context, since slavery was a fact of life in antiquity, the Bible does address it. It is important to keep in mind that the Old Testament rules are for Jewish (or Hebrew) life in the periods addressed.

Involuntary slavery was never tolerated in the OT.

“Anyone who kidnaps another and either sells him or still has him when he is caught must be put to death” (Exodus 21:16)
