What I find interesting is that a local shop shuts and they are happy but a mega franchise / big box store is now their altrnative. Seems counter logic to the liberal want of village economies. (and I know the mega stores/franchises are on their radar).
FWIW the outfit that shut down is a franchise also.

Don’t kid yourself. The goverment is at war with small business. Big government and big corporations are flip sides of the same coin.
