I doubt Canadians would like to take on a deadbeat US with over $17 trillion in debt and another $90 trillion in unfunded liabilities. Bad deal for Canada.

Nothing to be gained for Canada. They’d have to shoulder their share of our military expenses. Right now we’re defending them for free.
