Well, I hope you can escape the cynicism and callousness that are all around us. My husband and I married 25 years ago, last day of December 1998. We have been a good match, have raised 2 fine boys, respect each other and are content with each other. We make each other laugh every single day.
Stay away from people who are "against marriage." I realize they're talking wounded because they're walking wounded, but I'll tell you ...
I knew a woman 40 years ago who was always spewing bitter words about her ex. It repelled me: it grieved my spirit. And I resolved then and there never, ever, ever, ever to talk that way about another human being, and to shun the company of people who did.
I love my husband very much. Don-o, you listening? I love you so much.

The fact that you have put up with me for 25 years is proof of God’s existence. No other explanation will suffice.

Can I try out Mr. Dono's time machine?
My wife and I got married in May of 1997, and we've only been married 16 years!
Anyway, as a man I can agree with everything you have said. It also helps that as observant Catholics, we know that re-marriage is not allowed. Additional helps comes from the ostracization that would come from our friends and families, just in case that offending God business doesn't strike home any more.
Be the right kind of man. AFTER THAT, find the right kind of woman.
