Only the GayKK and other HomoFascist supporting groups use the term “homophobic”

More and more mainstream sources are using it. Although their agenda is always suspect, I think there is also a potential issue of a lack of a better term. It might be a good idea if those of us on the right could find a more accurate term to use - that way we could also ridicule the intelligentsia for using a nonsensical term like homophobic.

Not being a latin expert, I Googled around. It appears that latin term for disgust is taedium or tedium.

So it would seem getting halfway there, homophobia is really homotedia and Phil Robertson would more accurately be calle homotedic than a homophobic.

I don't think "homo" is the correct prefix though, and I'm not sure there is one in latin.

I believe the use of “homo” probably originated as a slur against homosexuals. HOMO means same, homosexual meaning same sex.

I guess if the queers are OK with what was a slur being used for their now accepted title, then your study to arrive at homotedium is apropos.

I like it!

Translate.google.com lists the following as translations of of the English word "disgust"

Fastidium - meaning distaste, disdain, scorn, loathing, or aversion.

Taedium - meaning weariness, tedium, boredom

Tedium - meaning weariness, boredom, disgust, abomination, repugnance.

Take your pick.

“Homo” means “same” in Greek, it means “man” in latin.

The Greek form means Lesbians too are homosexual.

The dictionary reference.com and Daily writing tips.com, say it’ a “loan word” from the Greek to Latin.

In polite company, I use homosexual to refer to men and women, although I usually just use the catch all word “queers”.

If what they do isn’t queer, then nothing is.
