When I entered the military in 1956 I was a “Hillbilly” because I was from Kentucky. The military used tens of thousands of “Hillbillies and found most of them to be capable and of good cheer. Most of us didn’t object to being called redneck(the result of earning an honest living and spending more time outdoors than indoors) There are so many things to do with our lives other than making ourselves mentally ill by blaming others for our perceived problems.

Since I used Hillbilly as a self description it may confuse some who think I never learned to spell. My screen name, Billhilly, was taken during the reign of the family Clinton. Bill and Hillary were from a state filled with Hillbillies,my cultural brothers, so it was a play on words.
