“Phil wanted to leave. He probably made a deal with A&E to let him leave and they both came up with this. OR A&E wouldn’t allow Phil out of the contract so he did this on purpose.”

Then each of the other members should go public and say the exact same thing. If I do see a response by the rest of the family in some way refusing to continue with the show. Then they are all a fraud.

Jep essentially said the same thing, albeit more tactfully. Everyone is in such an uproar about Phil, they must have missed it.

In the interview with GQ (or whoever it was), if you read all the way to the end, you’ll see how the author tried to suck Jep into saying something he knew would cause a stir. He asked Jep if he agreed with Phil about sin. Jep’s answer was better stated without compromising his principles, but he didn’t disagree with the major point. Paraphrasing, he said he wasn’t as vocal as his Dad, but any time someone asked him, he would go straight to the Bible.
