Given that blacks can only study history one month a year, probably not.
It’s completely disappeared down the memory hole, but quite a few white men were lynched, about 1/3 of the total, if I remember correctly. It was not an exclusively racial phenomenon.
It is also not unreasonable to point out that it is probable the considerable majority of those who were lynched deserved execution for their crimes, though not the torture that often went along with it. It isn’t due process, but if he’s indeed a murderer he has no right to complain of injustice if executed.
