This election has them scared to death. If it’s a wave election and a bunch of conservatives are swept into office on the wave, the old line GOP will have to change. That’s why Rove et al are waging war on the Tea Party instead of Democrats this year. They regard it as an existential battle; so it will be a bloodfest.

I send money only to those who swear to God himself that they will vote against new spending, bigger spending, new programs, Kenyancare, etc. We have to primary out the people who got us into this mess either by supporting it or sitting on their hands and watching it happen. The Republican party is our only real hope but it must be HOUSE-CLEANED and re-filled with actual Goldwater/Reagan conservatives. What I call DEAD CENTER conservatives. My only gripe with Goldwater is that he claimed the RIGHT for CONSERVATISM-—should have been the CENTER.
