Have you checked out the Redfield Counterstrike?

http://www.shootingillustrated.com/index.php/28926/redfield-counterstrike/

Has a built-in laser.

Yes, it’s made in China.

I was interested in that Counterstrike and was reading up on it. It’s an amazing little sight for the price and since Redfield is now owned by Leupold I think it would be good quality. The only downside is the laser is mounted very low and the beam would hit the back of the front sight post.

I just finished putting the rifle together last night, so I’m range bound later this morning to zero the irons (actually the rear is plastic Magpul)lol

I put this one together for about 625. PSA had carbine uppers for 279 with BCG and charging handle. Then a couple of days later they had complete blem bottoms with magpul MOE for 169. Then I added a Magpul hand guard, BAD lever, and rear sight.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m still looking around for something. Maybe just waiting it out will bring a good deal on a sight.

Primary Arms sells some Aimpoint knock-offs that look pretty good, but I don’t really know much about them.

Those Primary Arms sights are very budget friendly and I’ve seen hundreds of positive posts on forums about them. That just might be the ticket.

I got the irons zero’d today. It shoots sweet. Hey, you ever try one of these triggers?

Seems like a OK deal.

I think I saw those triggers at the NRA show. They seemed to be very nice and comparable to the Gisele, which is what LaRue uses, I think. Not sure about the 3.5 lb trigger pull though. Seems kind of light but would probably be okay in 3-gun competition or something like that.
