True there are some real monsters-in-the-making out there. But what this little boy did was to kiss the little girl’s HAND. Sounds awfully chivalrous and gentlemanly to me. From what I read, it wasn’t the little girl complaining about “unwanted attention” but the teacher who saw this “sexual harassment” for herself. No way this should have escalated as it did. What a wholly unnatural environment the classroom is where no one can touch anyone in a kind and loving way or risk being labeled a pervert. I hope the entire incident is described in this little boy’s record (that he kissed a girl’s HAND) so the idiocy is accurately chronicled in our Brave New World. Lord, please save us from ourselves. And parents: Get your little boys out of these hellholes!
Two companies where I’ve worked had harassment policies that said, in effect, “If an uninvolved third party believes that harassment is taking place then, by definition, it is. It does not matter if neither involved party believes it is happening or not.” (I wish I had kept the original wording as it said it better; or more ridiculously.)
It sounds as though this policy is now in use in the school system. What it does is give uninvolved third parties power over others. It’s probably from some liberal template.
