Actually, the bigger story is the number of cop haters on FR.Actually, the majority of people who dislike cops on Free Republic are the people who have been "contacted" by one or more of them since they ceased being "Peace Officers" and became "Law Enforcement Officers".
I wouldn't mind them at all if there were a lot fewer of them, they shared marked police cars and they stayed at their shop or the donut shop until called on to preserve the peace.
Okay, they're also going to have to stop the no-knock raids (at the right or wrong address) and shooting people's dogs.

... the people who have had "negative" contact with cops but who still claim to be not guilty.
Like the FRer last week who was all PO'd at (Wash) DC because he got caught speeding via camera ... twice! But it wasn't HIS fault. Twice.
