When I wuz a kid, race was about a number of physical features, skin color and religion (muzzies) not among them.

I may be wrong but I'd guess that many turks of yore were Caucasians.

Oh, St. Nick was white, but it would likely be a kind of Greek white (he was ethnically Greek as far as we know). So more tan than the Scandinavian look he has, but still white. He sure as hell wasn’t black or whatever the woman who wrote the original article was proposing.

Note to race-hustlers: If we made every historical figure black, things would be incredibly unrealistic. Especially confusing would be any parts of history with racial tensions.

St Nicholas was a citizen of the empire of Byzantium a Romano Greek society. A good guess would be that he looked in coloration like Angela Tanterros of Fox who is of Greek extraction
