Of course. Actually, we have a de facto ONE party state. The party has 2 wings a leftish wing called “democrat” and a rightish wing called “republican.” The two wings differ mostly on social, below-the-belt, issues, but on the important things like size and role of government, foreign policy etc., they’re both more or less on the 50 yard line, to put it in football terms.
