On the plus side, in jail they get free medical care.
So they throw you into jail where you get government sponsored health care because you did not participate in a government sponsored health care system. Makes sense to me.
I definitely would not rule out jail time for Clown Prince nobama, the greatest criminal loser president in our history.
What...is anyone here going to pretend to be shocked about this? No big surprise there. I’ve come across the occasional fool here spouting off about the feds only being allowed to go after tax refunds. One more time for the short bus crowd: what happens when you don’t pay the infernal revenue service money they say you owe them? To not pay the fine you either have to short them the amount due or knowingly sign a 1040 that is innacurate and open yourself up to perjury. And remember in tax court you are guilty until such time that you can prove yourself innocent to the liking of the judge. You all are way underestimating how far they are willing to go to screw you and yours.

No ins offered. But as Paul Harvey says there is the rest of the story. Wife who was the full time wage earner, because she is a CNA in a nursing home no health ins, is kicked in the breast by a patient, ER trip found a mass, turns out to be a walnut size tumor, the big C. Indiana has a breast and cervical cancer medicaid program. Which she now qualifies for. She is Stage 3 because she is both hormone and HER2 receptive. She has her surgery, is ready for round 3 of chemo. Their 12 year old gets put on Medicaid, but the type 2 diabetic US MALE cannot get health coverage even at their low income status. Reason he is a MALE, and Medicaid is mostly women and children. Men’s health is not consider at all. His RX runs out this month, a trip to the ENDO and testing is $700+ cash, they don’t have. Then there is the cheap give away meter, whose test strips are the big cost, if you are testing right you use over 100 per month. The cost of them would kill any low wage persons budget. So he has preexsisting condition, which makes him uninsurable. She will not be able to work for the year of Chemo as her job is working with sick people. And Ind. is a right to work state, which is good, but bad, if you get sick, they can terminate you for factors beyond your control.
But at least he's willing to try. You have to give him credit for that.
Then again, he may have to liquidate the excess population. I mean, they are "free riders," after all.
