Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have!
So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but stop in to say ‘hi!’

any word on when they’ll return? i miss quinn’s sharp wit in the morning...and daily synopsis.
have they been silenced/muzzled by contract or by the fascist politicos/apparatchiks at the FCC or elsewhere?
this is ridiculous, we gotta get quinn back on while he’s still a sprightly young man
if i were an station owner/operator I’d have him back on the air in a ny second.
it doesn’t make sense, he is one of my favorites, if not the favorite, and soon after democrats were elected to a majority in 2006 i’ve seen more n more affiliates disappear. personally, i think it’s something more sinister, i may be paranoid but it seems conservative radio is more often effected by jamming/interference and incidence of intermittent/broken streaming. Until quinn or rose contradict my belief i’ll continue to believe the fascist democrat party is the reason they’re not broadcasting.

Thanks for the link W. Did a quick once-over and I’m going to read it in full. Sounds like Quinn was right, except that it’s on steroids now. The guy is the White House is even more insidious. I never thought I’d ever see worse than the Clintons and their cronies, but Obama is worse - way worse.

This is the problem...
A no-compete clause in their contracts means they cannot be on the air in the Pittsburgh market for six months.
So they are on a 6 month at least leave. CC will probably change format on WPGB and Q&R could wind up anywhere.
Lawyers and unions...BAH!
