I have employee only coverage where I work. Just got the dreaded memo today that I will have to pay for part of the premium starting Jan 1, 2014.

Spouse and children coverage will no longer be available at all on Jan 1, 2014 through my employer.

Waiting on the memo that states my hours are being cut to 29 hours/week.

Would you want to be up for re-election with this tidal wave crashing through people’s lives all over the country?

For once, real Americans are going to get a very personal taste of what Obama and Democrats have wrought in their lives. Obamacare is going to be the touchstone that wipes out Democrats in the next few elections and ther is no amount of speechifying or spinning that is going to wash this away.

Very unusual to not have a 60-day advance notice requirement. You might check into that.

My policy (self insured) survived the grandfathered clause, but yesterday received a notice from my insurance company that they were adding a 2.5% tax to the premium every month.

Was that in the bill or a clause recently grabbed out of Sebulius butt to add it?
