I would guess they would have to be run on a computer completely.
I think you’re right. It would take many thousands of operators to control all those drones on the round trips. Not to mention facilities, overhead etc. The cost of that many people would be enormous.
The skies will be black with drones. Like massive flocks of Canadian geese heading south for winter.
