the GOP old dogs are in cahoots with the Progs. Split the Republicans to ensure a Victory for Obama and his 3rd Term.
McConnell doesn’t get it.
When was the last time democrats ‘took on’ a group that voted for them?
NEVER
Instead of “standing up to” anybody Mitch McConnell just needs to stand down. And then go away. If McConnell represents the republican “brand” then the republicans need a new brand.
Agree.

The outside groups, in McConnell’s view, are unaccountable and financially motivated and pose a threat to the Republican Party’s viability. The groups in 2010 and 2012 backed a handful of untested, ideological candidates in Republican primaries that couldn’t win general elections, costing the party opportunities to build a majority. It’s a threat that must be addressed ahead of the 2014 and 2016 elections, McConnell said, because it’s repelling the very voters the GOP needs if it’s ever to take control of the federal government.
To have the kind of year we ought to have in 2014, we have to have electable candidates on November ballots in every state — people that don’t scare the general electorate and can actually win, because winners make policy and losers go home, McConnell said. We can’t just turn the other cheek and hope for the best. It didn’t work in 2010 and 2012 so we’re going to try something different in 2014.
Mitch is running scared.
I can’t wait for the GOP to collapse and die.
AMF Mitch. I will be glad to see you proven wrong.
Does Mitch have a firm grip on his faculties? I ask this because the Tea Party is merely a manifestation of reverence and support of our Founding Principles.
Why is he so down on them? If he’s down on that sort of a person, then that’s him outing himself for who he is.
Not very smart of him to do this. It’s certainly NOT changing my opinion of the Tea Party members, but it is placing the last nail in his political coffin.
The Chamber Pot of Commerce?
Sure, people who can win elections like McCain and Romney? So, we had a couple of doofuses in Missouri and Indiana who blew it. I wish he’d look at the RINO’s who lost the generals, because I assure him there were more than the 2 I mentioned.
Wrong,Mitch! It’s PAST Time For You”Rinos”And”Ruling-Class”Types To Either Remove Your Noses From Dingy Harry’s Anus,Or PACK YOUR BAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad I could contribute to MM’s opposition.
Cram it, Mitch!
McConnell should talk !
He’s married to a cousin of the Chi-Coms Intelligence
committee...
I will donate $250 to his competition.

(1) McConnell is too old. He will be 72 next year. It's clearly time for him to step down and let some new blood enter.
(2) The Tea Party was largely formed out of frustration with Republicans who continuously compromised, groveled, and pissed away any principles under the ridiculous notion of "bipartisanship." Republicans are supposed to be the opposition party, not working hand-in-hand with the enemy.
(3) There would be no Tea Party if Republicans just advanced conservative principles. There would be no Ted Cruz or even Sarah Palin. The GOP won landslides in 1984, 1994, and 2010 by running as CONSERVATIVES.
(4) How many moderate Republicans have actually won elections? The lone exceptions were Eisenhower, who was a popular WWII general, and Bush I who ran on Reagan's coattails. Dewey, Bush I in 1992, Dole, McCain, and Romney all got creamed. Even Bush II won, but only squeakers.
He simply does not get it, Does he?
hee hee hee
Is he in for a surprise.
