To: The Antiyuppie

Hyakutake was not as bright as Hale-Bopp, but it had a spectacular near earth passage, presenting as a wide bright bluish band which spanned a large portion of the sky, moving perceptibly over a span of minutes. It was a unique spectacle.

Comet West in 1976 made Hale Bopp and Hyakutake look like a little spark. West was like a flaming basketball held at arms length. Bigger than Hyakutake and brighter than Venus.

Look it up.

Also, looks like Ison may have surviced!
