Ah, yes. Thanksgiving is all about football.
Silly me, I thought it was about giving thanks to God for all of the blessing He has bestowed upon us.
I also appreciate being educated on the tradition of ordering chicken wings from a pizza place on Thanksgiving evening.
We hardly bother to give thanks. Halloween comes, we skip giving thanks and go straight to gimmee gimmee. I think it’s lazy that people can’t make their own damn pizza if that’s what they want on Thanksgiving. Lazy. I worked in a hospital and I’ve worked my share of holidays. There are some things that are essential, but pizza is not one of them. Learn to cook. There’s lots of books on it.
TO each thanksgiving is something else.
Restaurant workers work holidays and weekends. It goes with their job.
He wasn’t being asked to work thanksgiving. Only to offer it to his workers. He (only the GM, not the owner) refused without even offering the option to his workers.
Some of his workers who might want extra pay might of jumped on it.
