One Ring to rule them all, One ring to find them; One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

Sweden?
How weird that there isn’t a koran inscription on it.
Expect the relevant organizations to correct that immediately.

($1,672) for the ring.
With the verification of authenticity by Riksantikvarieämbetet, that ring is likely worth much, much more on Ebay

Hhmmm. 200 years old, and a “gift from the underworld”
Is this Nancy Pelosi’s ring she dropped a couple thousand years ago? Witches have been known to drop things.

It's not the first time valuable rings have popped out of Swedish soil - two years ago a woman pulled up a carrot which had grown through her wedding ring, lost six years before I'd stick to that story if I was her.

$1,672.00 is not much. Story doesn’t mention the weight or purity of the gold. On the black market a 2000 year old anything brings big bucks. I bet thepri ce barely covered the value of the gold.

. At first I thought it was one of the little rings we put around the chickens feetyep. that would have been my first thought. Of course, we have 2,000-year-old chicken. :P

I agree, it’s a very cool ring, it would be fun to wear something like that.

I wonder how they determine the ring is 2000 years old...it's just a flattened piece of spiral rolled gold ...pretty easy to make...
You can't carbon date gold...
Enquiring minds want to know !!!

“When he told me it was an ancient gold ring, it felt like a gift from the underworld,” Lundin told The Local. “It was my magnificent ring. I didnt want to give it up.”
I hope this post is just an introductory one that will be followed by a trilogy.
