I can still remember how disgusted I was over the Columbine shootings. I think the cops were cowards. They just stayed outside for a long time while kids were being killed.

I felt exactly that way myself. The officers, when confronted about it, were angry and defensive, saying that they didn't know how many shooters there were, and where they were. One of the shooters was spotted outside the school only 60 yards from one of the officers. While that's a difficult shot for a handgun, it takes literally only seconds to close that distance and engage the shooter.

The best way to get cops to respond, I have come to understand, is to offhandedly mention to someone (away from the phone, not into it) that you heard that there was some drug money spotted strewn about the hallway. Then all the cops would have rushed in straight off to Arrest the money and bring in more revenue for the agency.

Active Shooter was developed after the Columbine fiasco. Either Sandy Hook didn't get the word or those cops were just plain cowards.

And the libs want us to think this happened because of magazine capacity. If the cops wait around for reinforcements, seconds don't count. Everyone who is going to be dead will be before the cops even enter.
