President Barack Obama said Thursday that he supports Senate Democrats dramatic action to change the chambers rules for presidential nominees, saying "enough is enough" when it comes to gridlock on Capitol Hill.
"The vote today, I think, is an indication that a majority of senators believe as I believe that enough is enough," Obama said at the White House. "The American peoples business is far too important to keep falling prey day after day to Washington politics."
Decrying the past "abuse of arcane procedural tactics" to block legislation and nominations, Obama conceded that neither party is blameless in creating gridlock on Capitol Hill.

Funny...he supported it in 2005:
“Obama Opposed Eliminating Filibuster In 2005”
He WANTS us to lose hope, don’t you get it..?
Did George MOPE in the cold at Valley Forge?
What would Sarah say? Or Ronaldus..?
When God tests you, he does NOT say its just a test...
FUBO. You smug arrogant POS.
When Democrats were in the minority they argued strenuously for the very thing they now say we will have to do without, namely the right to extend a debate on lifetime appointments. In other words, they believe that one set of rules should apply to them and another set to everybody else, he said.
McConnell reminded his colleagues Reid said in 2012 he wouldnt try to change the process of approving appointees.
He may as well just have said, `If you like the rules of the Senate, you can keep them, McConnell said, referring to the presidents oft-repeated promise that Americans could keep their insurance under Obamacare.
Senator Reid is breaking over 100 years of years of precedence in order to get his way, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said in a statement. Reid is a bully, dictating to the Senate.
Democratic Sens. Mark Pryor (Ark.), Joe Manchin (W.V.) and Carl Levin (Mich.) voted with Republicans against the rule change.
Yes, but would they be removed? For presidents, the House Impeaches, but they are not removed unless the Senate "convicts". Is it the same for judges?
One Bubba Klinton only became further emboldened after his impeachment, but acquittal by the Senate.
“enough is enough”
this is what America needs to say and feel about Obama
Forget 3 more years ; impeach now
SAVE THE USA-VOTE A DEMOCRAT OUT OF OFFICE!
Would they have done this if they only felt that obamacare was at stake?
No.
And THEY own the best info about the actual state of affairs on their ship.
My guess is they’ve got a cracked keel and we have to hang on now. And later we’ll put a couple into her side as she steams along pretending to ride high and mighty and she’ll go down with all hands in nothing flat.
They’re desperate and something is really REALLY wrong, over there.
MORE is at stake here than just Obamacare.
We just have to hold on and not give up, which is what they’re asking if us, now.
Because my buddy Barack's transformation of America isn't moving at the rate Mr. Soros, David Axlerod, Valerie Jarrett and his other handlers anticipated, we simply MUST pack the agencies and courts with more dedicated Marxists and libturds before BO's term is up. And although BO's agency heads will be removed should, allah forbid it, the pubbies take the WH in 2016, they will have had 3 years to bring in so many fellow libturds that a new administration will not be able to clean them all out.
But the courts especially here in DC are where the REAL action is! Dontcha just love that LIFETIME TENURE thing? We sure as hell do!
Oh...the finger?
Just my way of telling you Tea Party people that if you don't like it...suck on this!!
ROFLMAO!!!
Most DISrespectfully, Harry The Grinning Weasel Reid
“The GOP can do the same thing - now that the door has been opened.”
Remember John McCain arguing against the nuclear option when the Republicans controlled the Senate and the Dems were using the filibuster to stop Bush nominees. How does McCain feel today?
The Senate republicans should just get out of Washington, go home and campaign, campaign, and campaign some more.
The only reason to come back is to vote on a Supreme Court justice nominee. They cant stop the democrats from passing whatever they want.
The republican House should not even take up any bill coming from the senate.
Go home Senate republicans. Youre worthless in DC anyways.
Whatever suits their moral outrage at the moment. Both sides. With very few exceptions.
We are in perilous times.
Exactly. They will sweep 2014. One 50.5 to 49.5 election after another. All called after the R is winning all night until the heavy Rat precincts are counted.
