Well, I grew up and spent my first 50+ years in or near Memphis. I know all about it.
Since expiating, and between central Europe and Asia, I doubt that I have seen over five blacks in the last 5-10 years.
We went to the gulf coast area of Alabama two years ago for a week of vacation in early June. For five entire days we saw a handful of Blacks working in the restaurants and everyone spoke English all the time. It was wonderful.

I leave kansas city and go weeks out west and count maybe 10 blacks the whole time

Black people are no mystery to me....unlike so many here who view them as pets allowed every indulgence and for whom how they relate to something they are ignorant about....impacts and shapes the culture
