I watched the Watergate hearings with my grandmother. She had reluctantly voted for Nixon and was fed up with him. It was drip-drip as you said. I am thankful neither she nor my mother lived to see this.
As disgracefully as many of our presidents have behaved - nothing comes close to what this one has and is doing.

It’s always darkest before the dawn. Please, for the love of God, hang in there :-). This is coming from someone who has been somewhat of an uber-pessimist for the past few years :-).
