Krauthammer on 2016: Every GOP’er Can Beat ‘Paper Tiger’ Hillary Clinton
Mediaite ^ | 11-19-13 | Noah Rothman

Hewitt imposed a lighting round format on Krauthammer during the interview and asked for one word descriptions of the current likely field of presidential candidates heading into 2016.

Krauthammer called New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie a “frontrunner,” Ohio Gov. John Kasich “interesting” and “possible,” and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker “young, ambitious,” and “brash.” The conservative columnist added, “I like him.”

Of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Krauthammer said he was “very strong” and “could be a contender.”

“A lot of energy” and “a great orator,” Krauthammer said of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). He was cautious about Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) political prospects who he said had been tarred by his pro-immigration reform advocacy.

Asked about Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), “I love the guy,” Krauthammer declared.

“He’s got courage,” he continued. “I think he might decide he can serve conservatism in the country best as House budget chairman, but if he runs he’d be a very strong choice.”

If everyone can win, Dr. Then you’ll support the most conservative.

When was the last time Kraut was right about something? Didn't he just finish saying how stupid Cruz was for opposing Obamacare and how he couldn't win?

This is someone who should be smart according to his degrees, but seems to be wrong far more than he is right, yet people keep telling us how intelligent he is. Why is that?

Kraut still believes elections are open and fair and the media never lies.

No to Chris Christie! The media has it all planned out. The liberal media will push hard for Chris Christie and demonize his opponents, especially Ted Cruz. If Christie wins, they then demonize him just long enough for Hillary to win.

Christie LOSES to Hillary
Cruz BEATS Hillary

I don’t give a rat’s ass what some extreme liberal pollster may say. Evidence shows that CONSERVATIVES WIN ELECTIONS!

Thank you so much, afraidfortherepublic!

“A lot of energy” and “a great orator,” Krauthammer said of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

Krauthammer can’t be trusted. He WILL eventually support the GOP-e candidate…. Krauthammer is not a conservative and he thinks we are nut cases.

Christie will have zero problems raising lots of money. Cruz will struggle. Christie will pick someone like Cruz, Ryan, or some other to try and solidify the conservative base. It will be an epic battle between Christie and Hillary, probably.

Who knows? Maybe Cruz (or someone like him) can convince enough big-money networks to support him and he can compete.

Nobody on that list is going to please everyone. I guarantee there are people here who will find something objectionable about Ted Cruz once he gets the full vetting from the media. We can’t make the same mistake in 2016 and split the conservative vote and give a clear path to Christie to get the nomination. We need to unify, before the first votes are cast in Iowa, behind a conservative. I don’t want to go through a possible eight years of Queen Hillary, Crazy Uncle Joe, or Senator Pocohantas from Massachusetts as our president.

Rinos and Liberals believe Hilary is unbeatable.

Only Cruz are Paul could fluke victory under that scenario.

Christie would be a gracious loser and the RINOs think he is the guy to lose.

Rubio has a problem because he is a career politician and also the immigration issue is a problem. Even from the RINO perspective the amnesty support was not the issue, it was how he flip flopped and lied. He could come out and just be the McCainiac candidate.

If Rubio was a secret genius he would have orchestrated the current collapse of the amnesty bill as a mole.

Just put up ads playing Obama’s quotes about keeping your health plan next to her saying the same things, then cut to, “What difference does it make?!”

Could a bunch of conservative web sites get together and have some kind of straw poll of members who’ve been registered at least 6 months before the poll starts to narrow the field?

Or I could just dictate that all the rest of you vote for Cruz.

Christie will do what the shallow-thinking RINOs and money men want and go for identity politics with his V.P. Susanna Martinez will be the top choice and if she says no, on to Rubio.

Gingrich was funded by Adelson heavily and Santorum had another guy as a big benefactor. Those fellows could be the guys who determine who the dark horse is to go up against Christie.
