Michelle Obama says she wont wear shorts on Air Force One again because the one time she did, it created a huge stink.
Treated worldwide as a style icon, the first lady addressed the issue during a taped appearance broadcast Tuesday on BETs 106 and Park.

“Whoever dresses this woman should be sent to Siberia. But I would bet she probably selects her own wardrobe.”
An oldie but goodie:
The proper decorum depends on one's answer. Michelle has answered by her actions.

Wow, my eyes went fuzzy and for a second it looked like warning shots.
Like they fired warning shots at the press corps for not reporting like they were told to.
I could agree with that, also Crude or Rude woman, she is NO LADY! My mama taught me what a LADY was. Ladies like Jackie, Laura and Barbra Bush, all always looking and acting as a REAL First Lady should in public. What you dress like in your private quarters after hours, is your choice, but NOT in public.
I am no fan of Michelle, but I agree with you on this one.
I’m no fan of Barry’s either, and some Freepers get upset to see him wearing shorts while playing golf. I’ll take it they’ve never been to Bermuda.
I’ll go further. Both Michelle and Hillary anatomically have very wide hips. I don’t agree in the least with either of their politics, but I think it detracts from our argument when our side makes fun of them for it. I’d rather focus on the political arguments.
OK then:
Why is Moochelle engaging in the politics of dictating what we should and should not eat, when she should be concentrating on her own fat @$$?
I don’t want her dictating what we do or don’t eat, regardless of the beefiness of her behind.
But I really think the size of her butt is tied to her genetics. Women in general have more fat than men. And it’s unseemly of us to be carping on the shape of a more-fit-than-average middle-aged woman.
She is a shart.
A street walker? Excuse me? Only street walkers wear shorts? You know that is nonsense. And she always looks nice..I am sure she was quite presentable in her shorts. None of our business. A street walker.....balderdash. How silly...because she wore shorts. pfffffffffffffffft.
I liked her in the cut off shorts....but..I hate those boob belts!!! What is she thinking? It is not just on her. I hate seeing them on anyone.
She was dressed appropriately. I do not remember this gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands when Laura Bush wore shorts...also mid thigh khaki mostly...just like Mrs. Obama. And I never have seen Laura or Michelle be anything but dignified. And gracious. Some here are just a little short on grace. (Oh dear, I sound like my Mother!)
You are obviously from a different generation than I. First Lady’s do not go out in public in shorts or in slacks with panty lines showing. And I don’t agree that she always looks “nice” for the position she occupies. After she leaves the White House she can go naked and I could not care less, but while she is representing our country proper, conservative and understated are more appropriate.
I know, IMO every FLOTUS before Chewbacca has been a model of class and dignity.
Even Hillary had more class than the wookie.
I have never seen our First Lady look anything less than lovely. Laura Bush wore shorts, slacks,....she also looked lovely. Both are/were beautiful First Ladies. They are gracious and dignified.
You're completely missing the point. This is about respect for the office.
Laura Bush NEVER wore shorts on Air Force One.
I didn’t know you could get a Bigfoot to walk dogs.
Yeti---------> No innate sense of Class or Style.
Yeti should spend more time walking that ass of hers off to match the tone of her arms, arms she is so proud to show off and call attention to.
She should spend more time working on herself than trying to tell everybody else what to do.
What a dolt.
Your underwear.
