Saw two air force MPs get into an argument over this. Small hallway about 30 feet long, cops were on both ends with their guns drawn on a gun in the middle. Guy in the middle had lost his badge. He was kneeling and had his hands laced behind his head.
The two MPs started arguing with each other as to what he should do. One would yell an instruction and the other would say “no, do .....”. All while they had their guns aimed at him in a use of deadly force authorized area.
A couple of my buds landed at an Air Force base, filled out a transient aircrew form, exited through the “access point” and went to file for their next leg. They came back through the same control point 15 minutes later, only to be proned out by the same idiot. Evidently the transgression they had committed was crossing the access point that was now closed by a set of orange cones. If that red line needed that kind of response, then they should have had somebody standing watch over it.
