I haven’t had health insurance for 15 years because it is too expensive. My son has ADHD and requires regular doctor visits

For some reason I don't think she's being truthfull.......

After my own experience with two sons, and their friends, I am highly skeptical on diagnoses of ADHD. It's in a boy's DNA to need daily doses of strenuous physical activity.

Mom needs to take away the X-Box and hand the kid a basketball. For less than the $250/month she's spending on meds, she could enroll him in a YMCA program after school.

Regarding my 3YO grandson, the entire family (parents and all 4 grandparents) is in agreement that we will not allow any diagnosis of ADD. When he comes to our house (usually 1-2 days a week), he never naps, because he's having too much fun. He gets plenty of physical activity, thanks to his 11YO uncle and his Opa. lol - He keeps me young, too.

My son just completed football, in two weeks basketball season starts. With sports and Boy Scouts, we're doing our best to maintain a high level of activity.
