Positive response was so heavy, that Galloway and my Battle of IA DRANG-1965 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Hal G. Moore went on to finish writing their Best Selling “We Were Soldiers Once...and Young” Book. This became the basis of Randall Wallace’s 2002 Braveheart in Vietnam Motion Picture titled “WE WERE SOLDIERS.”
