The phrase “taking responsibility” was very common a few years ago. It was something to live up to. What I see going on here with 0bama, Oprah and other black leaders is they never take responsibility. They always shift blame to white people or Republicans.

I never heard George W Bush blaming Democrats for anything. 0bama is the opposite with no class...he is always blaming others

They don't have to take responsibility for anything because "Racism" is a perverse, collectivist version of Original Sin. All whites are guilty at birth, and all minorities innocent. Nothing is ever the minority's fault; and in any event, reparations are due them for sins past.

Oprah might be a billionaire; in fact, she is a billionaire - and one with millions of Caucasian admirers - and yet somehow, in some way she believes that Whitey still is oppressing her.

Instinctively, I think that people of intelligence, decency, and good will understand what kind of behavior such convoluted thinking creates. But for one reason or another, too many of us cannot seem to bring ourselves to condemn it publicly.
