It’s tucked away in the Daily Mail story.
That’s probably why she left the scene == another accident and another totalled car and she is drunk would mean loss of license and loss of insurance and more.
I’m sure his attorney has this information and it will come out to the parent’s dismay.
Why couldn't she call 911 on her Obamaphone?
I thought Obamaphones were for emergencies.
Actually someone on the scene did call 911 right after the accident and told her to stay there as the police said they were on the way — but she left the scene.
A 19 year old without a cellphone — no wonder she was disoriented.
I assume she had one and left the scene of the crime to avoid arrest.
That's why its hard to believe she was really "seeking help." We know she was a criminal so she was probably looking for a victim. That's what criminals do.
"When these incidents happen often time investigators try to prove guilt or not guilty in the investigation, but action was taken that led to a murder," said Rev. Charles E. Williams II, head of NAN's Detroit chapter. "Whether guilty or not guilty, that should be for the jury and court to decide."
Her cellphone was found where she died.
The battery was worn down. I would guess we may hear of the family members and friends she had called if there was enough battery to call them.
You are using White Math./sarc
Well if that’s the case then the LE should be able to trace her footsteps from her cell ping logs.
I also suspect that the homeowner will claim that she had her hoodie up and something in her hand that looked like a pistol == which of course was only her cell phone but how was he supposed to know.
Would the GPS track her if the battery was dead? I don’t think so.
Depends when the battery died. Had she been talking to someone on the phone before she showed up at his house???
In addition to those questions is this:
Was there a BOLO out for Ms McBride by the police since she had left the scene of an accident??? — an accident btw that she did not bother to call in.
What were the police doing during the 3 hours after the car accident — anything??? — any BOLOs??? — any attempts to find her???
When they found her were they going to arrest her for leaving the scene of an accident???
The DA and the family are doing all they can to avoid talking about the accident but I’m sure his attorney will be all over this at the arraignment.
In the family’s presser here @ 15:00 they point out that she had knocked on atleast one other house before she got to Wafer’s house.
But they don’t follow up with the next obvious question:
Why didn’t that homeowner open up the door and help her??? What was there about her appearance or behaviour that kept that neighbor from helping her???
