General: 'Slightest military mistake' could set off Iran's 'capabilities'

In a pointed message to Washington, the second in just days, an Iranian general has warned of great destruction being delivered to the United States.

“The Americans’ catch-phrase ‘the military option is on the table’ (over the nuclear issue) is a bluff,” said Gen. Massoud Jazayeri, deputy chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces.

“They are aware of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s capabilities. The slightest military mistake against Iran will make the Americans witness the heaviest damage in their history in their own eyes,” the semi-official Fars News Agency reported Monday.

On Saturday the general said, “America’s interests and all of Israel are within the range of the Islamic Republic and there is not the slightest doubt among Iran’s armed forces to confront the American government and the Zionists (Israel).”

Jazayeri said Israel is pulling the strings of Washington and “the American government is one of the most hated and evil governments in the world.”

Meanwhile, Iranian Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehqan told reporters on Monday that the regime’s armed forces are ready to confront any threats by the enemy and that America cannot afford a military confrontation with Iran.

“Of course, the Americans are not capable of launching a military strike against Iran because neither do the global and regional conditions allow them to do so, nor do they have such capability,” Dehqan said.

It has been reported here on many occasions that the regime’s terror teams along with Hezbollah and al-Qaida are present in the U.S. and that the regime’s generals have openly stated that America will face terrorism attacks in any confrontation with the Islamic Republic.

They should be announcing our victory any time now. That's also why Gates and some admirals have repeatedly implied that Iran could win a war against us.

I'm not so sure. Islam is more like a cult than a religion and the Book of Swords says they are to kill the infidel if they are true Muslims. Talk with a Muslim and ask them about this and see what they say. So far, I have not talked to one Muslim who disagrees with this.
