We will have to disagree.
I will tell you why I posted the picture. Emotion has nothing to do with it. It is to remind people of the horrible deed this man did. The same man who complains about no TV, the same man whose apologists claim this is “torture”, that same man killed and maimed. There is no moral equivalence, no shades of grey, and no reason to turn away from his deeds because they are offensive. It is their very offensiveness which demands this mans actions receive attention. It is the offensiveness of this mans actions that can not be allowed to be diluted by the ACLU.
It is the offensiveness of this mans actions that must remain the focus. That’s why I posted the picture.
Never forget.
I will never forget the little children whose lives he shattered. I hop the jury feels the same when it’s their turn to weigh in. If we disagree, it isn’t about much.
The short version: don’t allow the focus to shift to some namby-pamby bs about the prisoner.
Oh, BTW...the jury will see that picture, and many more.
