He was ‘starving’ in just 3 days?

What a wimp.

And my answer is not just no but HELL NO.

I value my dog over, say, the Kenyan.

I believe it is safe to assume that this story is a classic example of WWOD. The man facing hunger glanced at his dog and said to himself, "What would Obama do?"

My Ibizans always *naturally* returned what they caught to my hand.

I don't let them chase bunnies anymore but occasionally, they, the PPM or the Dobes will hand me a nice, fresh mouse.

Dobermans are excellent hunters.

My teen-years Dobe put my dad's obscenely expensive, highly trained Brittany Spaniel to shame.

His sire had a field championship...and yes, that means a ~hunting~ title.

My dogs bark with what I call their “rabbit bark” when they see a rabbit in the back yard. I open the door a crack and the noise gives the rabbits a ‘heads up’ before I actually let the dogs out.

Rabbits must be incredibly stupid to keep coming back day after day.

Do I know the origin of 'cynic'?

Does 'TheDuke'sGhost' know the origin of 'bad-ass movie cowboy'?

You could ask Snopes, but you'd be a poor speller.

By the way, Marco Lavoie's best friend has visited him in hospital, and has provided a more accurate timeline and detailed description of his trip.

He was armed; the troubles began about two months into the trip; he had injured his ankle; out of ammo; dog may have been close to death himself; when found, he was in a very treacherous area of the river; he was hallucinatory, barefoot, hypothermic, in 3 feet of snow and freezing temps.

It seems as though Marco is a bit of a loner, and cared more for the dog than most people. He wants to train any future dogs as search and rescue dogs.

Maybe being doglike is a good thing, eh?

After leaving civilization from the Rose Garden, and living in the wilderness away from his safe haven with his dog Bo for 3 days, he ate the dog, and a half day latter, he reached Pennsylvania Ave,....

So he went in a circle. Which makes a lot of sense to me. He fumbles and stumbles....hopefully back to Kenya.
