Mark is high and dry in California until the end of the month. We will be neighbors and in-laws soon. He will be marrying the younger sister of my girlfriend. We are both awaiting divorce from second wives.

I am now in Davao City, but my friends in Ormoc City, Leyte stopped sending me info around 9am yesterday (It's already Saturday morning here!). They were telling me of extreme winds and hard rain. I hope to hear from them soon.

Here in Davao, we had sunshine most of the day, with intermittent clouds and no rain nor winds. My GF's mom is going to Kapalong today to check there (mountainous area north of Davao) because their home there is along a river that frequently floods.SkyNews video

My friend’s daughter is a reporter for ABS-CBN. She flew to Leyte today. She said that more than 100 bodies were found scattered on the streets of Tacloban this morning (Manila time).
