By the way, we never lost cell coverage. All of the sites have battery and generator backup, and they are very rugged.

Rain was fairly normal.
I would have checked out ABS/CBN sat feed while at home, but power was out at that time. We had already paid for tonight at the hotel, so we are still here.

This storm was the lead story on “ABC World News Tonight” on Thursday evening across America.
They said it was going to be the strongest storm to ever hit a land mass anywhere in the world in history, worse than a category 5 hurricane with winds of 220 MPH.
They even had ominous music playing in the background.
