I'm sorry, too, Mr. President.
I'm sorry you couldn't finesse a single Republican vote for health insurance reform in 2010.
I'm sorry Republicans decided to re-litigate the law rather than help implement it, offering no serious alternative of their own for the nearly 50 million uninsured Americans.
I'm sorry you campaigned for reelection on the famous false promise: "If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan. Period."
SNIP
I'm sorry that the Democratic Party's decades-old chase toward universal health care is now at risk because your lawyour legacy, siris off to such a miserable start.
SNIP
You must lead by example (the NBC interview was full of excuses) and create a system of universal health care that is worthy of your promise.

Fournier isn't upset Obama lied and wrecked millions of lives. He's upset that Obama is blowing the left's best chance for universal government controlled healthcare.

Ron Fournier is a socialist and has carried the Democrap pail for a long time.

Tell them, please, to stop blaming Republicans, insurance companies, and the media But it's OK for Fournier to blame Republican in the first couple of paragraphs I guess!

Here’s the way this always pans out, ala Calvin and Hobbes:
Obama & Democrats: “We’re very very sorry we pee’d on your precious flags.”
GOP-e & Boner: “Well, just don’t do it again you scurvy scalawags!”

“... He’s upset that Obama is blowing the left’s best chance for universal government controlled healthcare.”
That’s a critical point. Obamacare is the result of about 100 years of Progressive machinations, and the Left knows that if it gets repealed and/or replaced now there will literally never be another chance to pull this one over on the American public.
We can’t wait for the Affordable Health Care Act to implode because the Left will never willingly give up on this, never surrender regardless of how big of a disaster our health care system becomes. This is a fight to the death and the Republican party seems to think it’s a polite game of checkers.
To: kristinn
When normal people say “I’m sorry” - they change their behavior, and change or remove the thing which caused offense.
When sociopaths and narcissists say “I’m sorry” - it is to deflect criticism, while they attempt to blame others, and claim they are victims too.
I doubt Obama will do anything to change or roll-back ACA, and no doubt we can expect more of the latter.

Fournier owned up when I pointed that out to him on Twitter:
@SalenaZitoTrib @ron_fournier 2nd paragraph heaps scorn on GOP, piece ends telling O not to blame GOP. Mourns fate of universal healthcare
Ron Fournier @ron_fournier 22m @KristinnFR @SalenaZitoTrib Nice catch. My view: I can (and should) throw flags all over the field, cast blame. He, tho, needs to govern.

I can (and should) throw flags all over the field Right...so he feels it's his responsibility to blame everybody. Truth doesn't enter into it.
What an ugly viewpoint.

The Republicans have no intentions of repealing this fiasco. They love the control it gives them just as much as the Democrats do. That is why we are seeing the bill to allow you to keep your old policy if you want going through the house. That is why the republican establishment is attacking the TEA Partiers, who want it repealed.

I am very sorry no one on Fox News have yet to realize that OBAMA betrayed the trust of millions of Americans by lying his way into a second term and that it is most certainly an impeachable offense. And sorry that not calling for someone in Congress (who have been literally neutered by his trashing of the constitution) to file articles immediately. Fox News continue to represent this illegally passed abortion of a bill as an actual healthcare issue. His apology in no way will measure up to the suffering he has caused millions and cost trillions.
