As far as I’m concerned, Catholics that don’t attend Mass are “former Catholics”; as the pro-life party (at least in name) the Republics sweep the active Catholic vote. As a Catholic, I’d rather my Church focused on the injustice of legalized discrimination via affirmative action; until they do, they can delude themselves into thinking the illegals will fund their operations while I put my checkbook away. For American Catholics, the organization that has closed schools due to financial constraints while focusing on illegal aliens is no longer in touch with its base; expect to see declining vocations and collections as a result.
As for my “tithing” of 10%, ask Caesar for it; he took that and more, and you still won’t oppose him.
