Would someone please explain to me WHY we MUST "move the country forward"; and just exactly what "forward" means? Forward implies a destination; would somebody please define just what/where that destination is? I was happy with it the way it was a long time ago, so why isn't THAT 'forward"?
When you run a ship aground, moving it "forward" is the last thing you want to do, unless you want to use it as a tourist trap hotel and restaurant.
