LOL, good one. East St. Louis -- saw it back in the day, in the 60's and again in, umm, about 1975. What a pesthole!
Drove through St. Louis in 2011, but stayed on the Interstate and missed all the local color.

Jamaica Queens was the breeding-ground of both Al Sharpton and Sheila Jackson Lee. Ugh. As in, "rep-UGH-nant!"
