Black-Led Tea Party Group: 'Defund Alan Grayson!'
Bond Action ^ | 11/4/2013

LOS ANGELES—After continued calls demanding that Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) apologize for his remarks and actions demonizing the tea party by comparing them to Ku-Klux-Klan members, the South Central LA. Tea Party, a black-led group, is calling on the liberal Democrat’s top donors to stop funding his re-election campaign. The far-left congressman recently attacked the tea party on MSNBC and sent out a campaign mailer to his constituents depicting an image of a burning cross in place of the letter “T” for tea party surrounded by Klansmen. The image also had the following caption: “Now You Know What the ‘T’ Stands For.”

Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder of the South Central L.A. Tea Party and BOND Action said, “My organization has made numerous attempts to reach out to Rep. Grayson asking for an apology, but he has refused saying: ‘If the shoe fits, wear it.’” Rev. Peterson added, “We are sick and tired of liberal elite members of the Democratic party not being held accountable. Grayson is trying to re-write the racist past of his own party and lying about Tea Party Republicans in order to scare blacks into supporting him. Grayson knows that most Democratic lawmakers opposed civil-rights for blacks and that the Ku-Klux-Klan was made up of Southern Democrats.”

Rep. Grayson is running for re-election in Florida’s 9th congressional district. Grayson’s personal net worth is estimated at anywhere from $24 to $85 Million. Some of his top donors include: American Assn for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), Teamsters Union, AT&T Inc, Planned Parenthood, and Honeywell International.

“We are reaching out to these organizations and donors to make them aware of the type of reckless and dishonest individual they are funding and giving them an opportunity to do the right thing by stopping any financial support for Grayson’s campaign,” said Rev. Peterson.

Good on them. That campaign note was not only a malicious lie against the tea party, but by trying to make the equivalency, it completely trivialized and disrespected those who suffered the outrages of the klan.

Alan Grayson is an embarrassing bufoon, and he makes Florida look bad. He’s not qualified or competent enough to be in the senate, and if it weren’t for massive voter fraud he wouldn’t be there. And I’ll bet he never saw this coming. Have you noticed that it’s usually the stupidest people who think they’re smarter than everybody else?

You’ve summed up the Obama administration in one sentence.

Instead of that, sue him. He did NOT meet the criteria in Article I, Section 6 of the US Constitution,

1: The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States. They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.

The problem is , Grayson is in a leaning Dem district. They would vote for the devil with a D in his spot on the ballot. The Pubs need a strong candidate. Unless that happens, Grayson will sneak in again. We shall see.
